CHARACTERS
You all know what Break shot is, right? The first shot to disperse the balls gathered together is called the break shot. The game begins with that shot. But, what’s really amazing about that break shot is… even if you hit the balls at the same angle and with the same amount of power, the balls will always disperse differently. How the ball will meet and where they will go, we couldn’t predict it. The moment the break shot is made, that’s the ball choice and destiny will guide them. The balls as such six students who failed in their life. Finally, they find their break shot. How is their story? Let me introduce you to the actors and actresses.

In an auditorium, held an audition to enter a famous art school. The judges are president, headmaster, and some teachers.
Mrs. Monalisa : Next, 926 and 927…
(2 candidates are coming)
Mrs. Monalisa : Olivia White?
Olivia : Yes.
Mrs. Monalisa : Rachel Dimly?
Rachel : Yes.
President : You want to have auditioned together?
Olivia : Yes.
President : Ok, please!
Olivia and Rachel : (singing)

Rachel : Olivia? What do you mean? You’re kidding, right?

President : Yes I know you are Olivia White and she is Rachel. And I ensure that the one who passes this... is you, Rachel Dimly.
Olivia : W...w...What? How comes? Didn’t you hear that she missed some tones; meanwhile, I sang it very well.
President : Yes that’s right. You sang it well, but she did it better than you.
Olivia : You know, I’ve studied in musical school since I was child in a popular musical school. But... she? She’s just rubbish, she’s my follower.
Rachel : Olivia…
President : I’m sorry I don’t care with your business. But yes I say Rachel passes and you, Olivia, You still need to learn more, especially to respect people.
Olivia : (Kneeling down)

Alice I’m Alice McShabby, and she is my friend Stella Yamada. She accompanies me here.
President (smiling) Ok, What are you going to perform?

In teachers’ room…
Mr. Gevoelig : (Giving a report)
Ma’am, this is the list of the students who passed the audition yesterday. It’s 98 students. We need 100. So, it’s still minus 2 persons.
President : 2 persons? Don’t worry … I have 2 additional students for that…
Mr. Gevoelig : What do you mean?
President : There are 2 students especially I give chance and also I have a teacher who’ll be responsible for them too.
Mr. Gevoelig : Who?
President : Mr. John Lemvolution, please get in!
Mr. John : (coming in)
Mr. Gevoelig : What? He’s the worst teacher in this school. Even, today he should be discharged because his work never improves in the last three years.
President : I’m perfectly sure with my decision. Do you mind with my decision Mr. Gevoelig?
Mr. Gevoelig : No…
(Afraid)… (Leaving the room)
Mr. Lemvolution : Actually, you call me here for what? What Mr. Gevoelig said is right. I should be discharged from this school.
President : I want you to find these two girls and take responsible on them.
Mr. Lemvolution : Who are they?
President : Olivia White and Stella Yamada.
Mr. Lemvolution : Why must be me? Meanwhile you know I’m the worst teacher.
President : Because I believe that you can. I will go abroad and will be back on the day of show case and I want to see your students shine on the stage become the stars.

SCENE 3
Because of the belief given by the president to Mr. John Lemvolution, so he tries to find the two chosen students by the president. After meeting them, Mr. Lemvolution brings them to school. And they are announced as special students to study in that school without passing the audition. Some students seeing that announcement get surprised because of knowing the scandal happened at the time of audition. One of them is Rachel. Then, happens a riot.
(Rachel, Alice and Mandy are coming)
Rachel : Why could they be special students? Meanwhile at the time of audition they exactly performed badly.
Olivia : Just say that you get jealous at me because I become special students here. It means that I’m expected here.
Rachel : Special? You’re not aware that your life now is not like your life in the past. It’s different. You’re not a special person anymore. Be aware of that!
Olivia : (surprised and silent) You!
Stella : Hey, you act as if you have a super power here. We both are recruited in this school as special students. It doesn’t mean that you can easily disparage us like that.
Rachel : What’s your business? You want to help her? You want to be her friend? Remember, you’ll regret to have ever known her. She’ll never respect you as friend.
Alice : Calm down, Rachel. Don’t dispute like this!
Stella : So, now you want to be friend with her, Alice?
Alice : Yes, she is kind to me in this school. I thought that you will not enter this school so I find a new friend. You also don’t tell me that you become special students here.
Rachel : You want to be friend with a girl with the strange performance like this?
Alice : (nodding)
Mandy : Alice, Alice, how could you be friend with a tomboy girl like this? Be careful later you’ll be strange like her too.
Stella : Hey, keep your mouth (with a loud voice and spontaneously push Mandy rudely)
(Because of the rude treat from Stella, they all have quarrel and push each other so that they make a great riot. It makes the headmaster, Mr. Gevoelig who is talking in front comes to them).
Mr. Gevoelig : What happens here?
Mandy : Both of them had a quarrel, sir.
Stella : They did it firstly, sir.
Mr. Gevoelig : If only you both are not special students from president, I’ll get you out from this school. (Taking a note in his pocket and writing something) But, as the change, you must be in detention class.
SCENE 4
Few weeks later in one of the classes.
Jamie : (standing up in front of the class closing the book). That’s all my presentation. Thank you.
All : (clapping their hand)
Miss. Gevoelig : Ok, thanks Jamie for the presentation. Next, Wen…please present your presentation!
Wen : OK. (standing up and looking for the paper inside his bag)
Miss. Gevoelig : Come on, hurry up! We don’t have much time.
Wen : Yes ma’am, wait... (Confused)
Miss. Gevoelig : So, actually you have your assignment or not?
Abby : (getting in) Wen, this is your assignment. It was left in library just now.
Mandy : She must be Wen’s girlfriend, right?
Wen : No, she’s not my girlfriend.
Miss. Gevoelig : She’s your sister, Wen?
Wen : What? Sister? It’s impossible this girl is my sister. Are you stupid? (suddenly silent and worried because he’s aware that he’s talking to the teacher)
Miss. Gevoelig : You’re not deserved to be in my class. You should be in detention class. (Writing something on a piece of paper and giving it to Wen). Now, you get out of my class. Manage your movement in the headmaster’s office.
Wen : (accepting the letter and leaving).
Mo and Mandy walk to the gate of school when the lesson’s still running. On the way, they meet the headmaster.
Mr. Gevoelig : Hey. Where are you going?
Mo : (silent and afraid, bowing her head)
Mandy : Ouch, I have stomachache, sir. Excuse me, I want to go to toilet, sir (running).
Mo : (surprised and confused)
Mr. Gevoelig : I have to call your parents and tell that you’re going to absent from school.
Mo : Please sir, no. I beg you not to tell my parents about this. My father will be so angry at me.
Mr. Gevoelig : That’s why, I’ll tell them. Especially your father. They have given me a big trust to supervise you in this school.
Mo : but, sir, I beg you. Don’t tell them, please…
Mr. Gevoelig : Ok, because you’re still a new student in this school and you come to this school by showing your best achievement. So I’ll not call your parents.
Mo : Thank you, sir…
Mr. Gevoelig : But… (Taking a note in his pocket and writing something). You still get the punishment to be in detention class. And I point Mr. John Lemvolution who will take responsibility on it.
Mo : (fatefully taking the paper and leaving).
In the corridor of the school…
(Alice, Mandy, and Rachel throw the rubbish to the headmaster)
(They directly run away meanwhile Jamie is standing up reading a book)
Mr. Gevoelig : (looking at the back, taking the rubbish and getting closer to Jamie)
Hey, you! You threw this rubbish?
Jamie : No… sir...
Mr. Gevoelig : But you’re the only one here. Who did it instead of you? (Angry)
Jamie : But, not me sir …really …
Mr. Gevoelig : I don’t want to listen. You’re punished because of this bad behavior. Meet Mr. John Lemvolution in detention class right now! (Taking the note in his pocket, writing something and giving it to her)
Jamie : (taking the note and leaving)
SCENE 5
In detention class, at the basement, Wen, Mo, and Jamie meet Olivia and Stella who are taught by Mr. John Lemvolution. Before they come, Mr. lemvolution has been told by the headmaster that he is going to handle the three students who have the cases.
Mr. Lemvolution : Oh, you have come. Come on! Get inside! Join us.
3 students : (getting inside while showing strange sight to two students in the class room, then, they have their seats).
Mr. Lemvolution : Both of them are my students, Olivia White (pointing Olivia) and Stella Yamada (pointing Stella). And you must be... Wen?
Wen : (nodding)
Mr. Lemvolution : Hmm, (reading a piece of paper). There are two female students. Where is Mohini?
Mo : (raising up her hand) Yes, sir...
Mr. Lemvolution : Jamie Sullivan?
Jamie : (raising up her hand) Yes, sir...
Mr. Lemvolution : Good, now your task is cleaning this basement. For Olivia and Stella… (Silent because of hearing an annoying sound from the upstair) Wait for a moment. It must be because the headmaster doesn’t want to repair this basement (leaving).
(While Mr. John Lemvolution is going to find the headmaster, those five students who don’t know each other sit down quietly hearing the sound coming from the upstair).
Wen : (drumming on the table)
Mo : (snapping her fingers)
Olivia : (playing with the key in her hand)
Jamie : (clapping her hand)
Stella : (taking her guitar and mumbling following its sound).
Jamie : (singing then inviting Olivia to sing together)
(While they are singing together, Abby is standing alone next to the door just looking at them. Then, Mo takes her hand and asks her to sing).

Olivia : I’m sorry sir. (Sitting down)
Mr. Lemovolution : (coming to Abby)
Abby : (bowing and then sitting down).
Mr. Lemvolution : (getting closer to the other four students but they directly come back to their seats).
(Standing up in front of the class).
Your performance just now was very good. Stella, you’re talented to be a guitarist. And I guarantee that you can be a great guitarist… Abby?
Abby : (nodding then bowing).
Mr. Lemvolution : You have a very nice voice.
Abby : People always disparage me. They always laugh at me.
Mr. Lemvolution : Don’t think too much about people’s judge about you. Not all what they say is right. (Seeing other students). You all sang the song just now very well. It was really a great collaboration. I like your performance. I like to see your band.
Wen : We’re not a band.
Jamie : Band? People who use the musical instruments?
Mr. Lemvolution : No, it’s like girlband or boyband.
Olivia : But we don’t know each other.
Jamie : This is just a coincidental.
Mr. lemvolution : Destiny. Destiny that unites you all. You can make a great band. Hmm... (Thinking) Show case, you can join that final semester competition.

Mo : Showcase. There, there is a talent competition held annually. The winner will get scholarship and also some other rewards. But, the competition is really hard. My dad asks me to join it, but I’m not sure with my own ability. Besides, I don’t know many people in this school.

Abby : (nervous) No, I can’t sing in front of many people, especially if there are so many audiences. I can vomit.
Mr. Lemvolution : Stella, you’re a great guitarist. The tone melody you played just now was really amazing. You created it by your own?
Stella : I’m even not aware that I’ve created it.

The coin shows head, it means that they make a band. After a few days, they have practiced for several times, they discuss about band’s name.
Stella : Ok, our performance is good. Now, the first thing we have to discuss is the name of our band. Anyone has idea?
Olivia : What about Soul Groove?
Jamie : No.
Stella : The anarchists?
Mo : I think no.
Olivia : But it’s quite cool.
Mo : No.
Olivia : Hmm... Yes. It’s quite right. It’s not cool.
Wen : Well, I have an idea. (Opening his book). Wait for a moment. Let me find it first… How if… Wen?
All : Wen?
Jamie : He’s kidding, right?
Abby : Don’t make a joke Wen.
Wen : That’s cool. A band with one name, Wen…
Olivia : Decline from the party.
Jamie : What kind of band’s name is it?

Olivia and Wen are standing on the corridor of the school. Then, Abby and Mo come….
Mo : Do you see Jamie?
Abby : We just looked for her everywhere, but we don’t find her.
Olivia : We don’t see her from this morning.
Stella : (getting in) I heard that Jamie is in the garden behind school, alone.
Mo : Let’s go there!
In the garden behind school, Jamie is sitting alone while crying.
Abby : What’s up?
Mo : Just tell us if you have the problem.
Jamie : I remember my parents. I miss them. (Looking at the photo on her hand).
Wen : (walking to the window and seeing outside). The cloud is so wonderful. Every time I see the cloud, my heart feels peaceful.
Olivia : That cloud looks like a smiling person.
Abby : (walking ahead) That cloud looks like an alien.
Mo : (standing up) No, It’s like a person with the baby-cart.
Stella : (walking ahead) I just see some undefined forms in the sky. Those clouds look same. May be it’s because I just feel different in my own family. I feel strange to be in a smart family who can create unique things, but I’m not. I feel different.
(Everybody is sitting down)
Wen : My dad will get married with a girl 7 years elder than me.
Mo : I try to be a perfect Indian girl who has to do all what my parents want.
Abby : My mom is too protective. Sometimes she treats me like a 5 year-old kid.
Olivia : My parents got bankrupt. They leave me alone here. And now I have to pay their debts by entering this school and being a famous actress.
Jamie : My mom has passes away few years ago and my dad got into jail. I never visit and talk to him anymore for few years. I really want to talk with him. But I don’t know what to say.
Mo : (getting close to Jamie, wipe her shoulder).
Stella : (taking her guitar and playing a song).

In the Halloween’s party, in the backstage, Jamie and Wen are looking for Abby.
Abby : (sitting in the corner)
Wen : Abby, what’s up? We are going to perform 10 minutes to go. Come on!
Abby : No, I feel like want to vomit. I can’t perform in front of many people.
Jamie : Come on Abby, we must be able to perform in front of them all. You’ve ever sung in front of us, and you have a beautiful voice. I believe that you can.
Abby : No.
Wen : Abby, we’ve done it together. It’s impossible we stop in the middle of our way like this, right?
Jamie : We are a team. Abby, if you can’t perform, it means that we all can’t either. And it’s impossible. We just have few more minutes. Think about it Abby!
Wen : (giving a bar chocolate to Abby) Don’t be childish! Don’t embarrass us because you can’t perform. But I believe that you can against your nervousness. Stage fright is a usual thing for the beginner. We believe in you… I believe in you.
Abby : (lifting her head up and accepting the chocolate given by Wen).

Abby : (opening the package of the chocolate and eating it for a bite, then stand up).

They are ready to perform on the stage for the first time as an opening band in the Halloween’s party. All people seeing them underestimate them. But, confidently they keep standing up on the stage and be ready to perform a song.

Few days after Halloween’s party…
Olivia : (getting eyesore) Oh God, what’s going on with my eyes?
Wen : What’s going on?
Olivia : May be my eyes get the dust in it.
Wen : Come here, let me blow. (Blowing Olivia’s eyes)
When Wen is blowing Olivia’s eyes, Abby comes from the back of Wen and accidently see them. She is surprised and directly stands up.
Mrs. Monalisa : What’s going on dear? Why are you crying?
Abby : (still bowing her head and crying)
Mrs. Monalisa : Ok, now tell me what’s going on. You can trust me. (Asking her to sit down).
Abby : I saw the guy that I love was kissing with my own friend.
Mrs. Monalisa : Oh, dear. It must so hurt seeing the person we love with other girls. Have you told about your feeling to him?
Abby : No.
Mrs. Monalisa : Why? Are you afraid that he will reject you?
Abby : (nodding)
Mrs. Monalisa : Don’t ever be afraid to try something, especially it’s about your feeling. How could you know what he feels?

Two days before show case, Rachel, Alice and Mandy are sitting in the park. They see Stella, Olivia, Mo.
Rachel : Hey, see who’s coming?
Alice : Breakthrough band.
Rachel : Huh, I know that (laughing cynically). For me, they are not Breakthrough band, but they’re just rioters in this school. Even it’s almost been one semester they’re in the detention room. They are loosers.
Olivia : Where are Abby and Jamie?
Mo : Both of them are sick, flu, fever, and cough.
Mandy : Sst… They’re coming.
(Rachel, Alice, Mandy are walking to them with their folded hands)
Rachel : You still want to perform in the Show Case tomorrow?
Stella : Sure. We’re ready for that.
Rachel : I’m sure that we will be the winner.

Mo feels hurt with her legs because of Rachel, Mandy, and Alice. Besides, because of bad weather Jamie gets flu. Abby who needs to practice more, even has something trouble with his voice. She gets sore throat.
SCENE 12
One day before show case, the president of school holds a meeting with the headmaster and the teachers about show case. The president who firstly decided the regulation that whoever wins the show case will get the reward, and if they are in detention room, they will be free. But, the headmaster denies that.
Mr. Gevoelig: I don’t agree if detention class is closed. Ma’am, I want to apply the discipline in this school. For the ones who disobey the regulation must come to detention class. If it’s closed, it will make them naughty and often disobey the regulation at school.
President: But, the school’s regulation must be made. At the beginning of this semester, we all have made that regulation and you have agreed it, Mr. Gevoelig.
Mr. Lemvolution: I agree with Mrs. Kate. The students in detention class should join the other students. They also have talent. Even, they can be better than other students in regular class.
Miss Gevoelig: So, you think that the students in my school are not as good as your six students in detention class that you teach?

In showcase, a talent show, here in this program the winner will get the scholarship and some other gifts. But for breakthrough band, by winning this program they can be free from detention room and come back to their previous class.
